I
Donald Trump, the 45th and 47th president of America, is far from worthy of the title of president.
As the 45th president, he was fortunately kept in check by a large part of his administration, until he successively replaced some of his own with yes-men. His 47th administration consists entirely of yes-men and sycophants.
According to analysts, he peddled more than 30,000 lies (Trump: alternative facts) during his election campaign, and those lies didn't stop during his presidency.
Trump has largely isolated America through his geopolitical machinations. He has destroyed USAID and terminated all sorts of treaties, such as trade agreements and the Paris Climate Agreement. Even China has signed this agreement!
But Trump only wants to pollute more, as if America were in a closed bubble, while it is one of the biggest polluters (I know many Americans are already suffering from air pollution!). He has imposed unconstitutionally arbitrary import tariffs on virtually all countries except Russia and North Korea. And he abuses these tariffs to try to impose his will on others and, if that doesn't work, to punish them.
Because he can't get the Nobel Prize (or buy it; yes, he really proposed it!), he no longer feels as focused on peace.
He supposedly stopped eight wars, but either those wars continue or the parties involved deny that Trump contributed to stopping the conflict..
Because of his own stupidity, the most important war America should have stopped, Russia's war against Ukraine, is far from resolved. He is constantly being hoodwinked by Putin.
He's supposedly concerned about the number of daily deaths in the war between Russia (the aggressor) and Ukraine. But he abuses the so-called peace negotiations with Russia to enrich himself. There is reportedly talk of a $12 trillion economic cooperation package for trade between America and Russia (the Dmitriev Package).
Meanwhile, people are dying every day, so Trump is trying to enrich himself on the backs of these deaths.
Note: Russia's GDP is estimated at $2.54 trillion. So how?
Note 2: According to recent polls, approximately 78% of Americans have an unfavorable opinion of Russia (36% most unfavorable and 42% very unfavorable). How does that represent...
On national TV, he claims that all world leaders admire him and are begging to kiss his ass. I really didn't make this up.
He openly disparages some (European) leaders, even loyal friends of America.
He tries to divide the EU by wanting to grant certain countries extra favors. Of course, he doesn't like the EU being a powerful trading bloc.
He finances (naturally with American taxpayer money) ultra-right factions in Europe.
At home, he's creating chaos in cities (especially the blue ones) with his ICE and, if necessary, the National Guard, and he'd like to deploy the military to suppress protests (free speech!!!).
He claims to fully support freedom of speech, yet constantly tries to prevent the press from doing its job. He denigrates all his (press) opponents with his low-IQ pronouncements, while his own IQ is only mediocre.
He threatens, through his vassal Brendan Carr of the FCC (Federal Communications Commission), to block mergers or acquisitions if they don't fire an employee he finds unfriendly (e.g. Jimmy Kimmel).
He's taking legal action against every news outlet that has spoken out about irregularities in his administration or his own.
With DOGE, Trump has virtually eliminated all government regulators and consumer protection agencies.
So let the fraud begin. Companies are no longer burdened by the necessary controls on their products and prices.
His approval rating is way down, even on the key issues that secured his election victory.
The dollar has fallen 13% since he took office. Respect for the USA has also plummeted; its biggest allies are now more enemies than friends and are working hard on measures to move forward without the USA. But perhaps that's also what Trump wants?
It's a shame, then, that those same former allies are now withdrawing their investments (especially in the National Debt).
The bully Trump, with his often big and filthy mouth, is certainly no asset to America. He's far from presidential.
A major problem in my view is that he has received, and continues to receive, support from an ultra-conservative Christian organization, the Heritage Foundation. This organization wants to return to the world of 1950, perhaps even earlier. The time before science developed the theory of evolution, the theory that, in their view, has more or less dispelled the concept of God.
Since Trump's first term, this organization has developed a 900+ page plan for the rollout of the 2025 elections and full plans for the administration for the next 4 years.
Trump claimed to know absolutely nothing about Project 2025, so I wasn't surprised when approximately 70 percent of his first 100 decrees came directly from Project 2025.
My conclusion:
He's a dangerous lunatic who completely abuses his power. He is NOT the genius who devised all this, but a vassal of a dangerous ultra-right organization.
